What you do not know about calcium can HURT you?

If you believe that bones are made of calcium, you're not alone. Most consumers and, surprisingly, most doctors, believe that bones are made of calcium. Yet any basic biochemistry textbook will tell you the truth: Bones are made of at least a dozen minerals and we need all of them in perfect proportions in order to have healthy bones and healthy bodies. If you get too much calcium, through food sources or by taking supplements, you set yourself up for an array of negative health consequences, including obesity, Type 2 diabetes, Type 2 hypothyroidism, hypertension, depression, problem pregnancies and more.

Like all of you, I had the same believe too until I did a bone scan using the latest 3rd Generation DEXA machine. It revealed that though I had more than enough calcium in my body, I still suffer from bone loss and the excess calcium form what is known as calcification.

Calcification is the process in which the mineral calcium builds up in soft tissue, causing it to harden. Here are just some of the effects of calcium on our body.

Type 2 Diabetes

Conventional wisdom says: Insulin resistance is a hereditary disease that is incurable.

Now The Calcium Lie reveals:
Type 2 diabetes is reversible if the body's balance of essential minerals is restored, and if the disease is caught early enough. It is caused by nutritional mineral deficiencies and imbalances, poor protein digestion, as well as improper eating habits, and nutritionally deficient foods, and is not a hereditary disease.

Heart Disease

Conventional wisdom says: Following popular nutritional advice - including making certain that your diet is low in saturated fats and cholesterol, and rich in calcium - is the best way to prevent heart disease.

Now The Calcium Lie reveals:
Excess calcium in the body and an imbalance of other essential minerals leads to calcification and a hardening of the arteries (calcific plaque), increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease and hypertension. This condition often leads doctors to prescribe statins and other drugs which very often have dangerous side effects.

Obesity

Conventional wisdom says: Limiting caloric intake and getting frequent exercise is all that is required for effective weight loss.

Now The Calicium Lie reveals:
Excess calcium in the body is an important contributing factor which leads to obesity. In fact, obese individuals are "starving" for other essential minerals and nutrients. Even exercising frequently and eating less will not keep weight off permanently. It always comes back unless you change the underlying metabolism.

And a word about concrete...

When construction workers need to harden concrete, they add calcium. Imagine what it hardens in your body! Learn more about the many dangers of excess calcium in the human body .

In the Art of Healing article written by Dr. Amir Farid Ishak entitled Calcium Power, Dr.Amir talks about how the many important body functions depend on calcium and its binding protein especially, calmodulin.

Professor Wong Kai Hua is the person responsible for the invention of  Ca-CAN Calmodulin and m-CAM Calmodulin supplement product developed by BIONIKE Biochemical Research Center. (certified by US FDA; certification no. 2952284). Check out her comments on the product.

Do be reminded that our spinal column is the foundation of our whole body. If a house has weak foundation, it will colapse one day and the same applies for our body.
