RO water filters

                      RO water filters uses reverse osmosis method of filtering water. RO water filtration system is the most convenient and effective method of filtering water. It works by squeezing water through a semi-permeable membrane under pressure at 0.0001 microns or 0.00000004 inch.

                    RO water protects us against the harmful effects of heavy metals, chlorine, bacteria, pesticides and even radio active materials. RO water filtration system was developed by the US government in the 1950's to desalinate sea water into drinking water.

                   Chlorine and lead are two of the most common contaminants found in drinking water. Chlorine is used to treat water and lead comes from lead pipes. Both can cause adverse health effects. Lead causes learning disabilities and reduced IQ in small children. In adults, it causes high blood pressure and reduced haemoglobin which is needed to transport oxygen to our cells. Lead is stored in our bones and teeth. Chlorine causes hardening of the arteries,which is the cause of heart disease. RO filtration system can remove up to 98% of both chlorine and lead.
